Tharimmune Names Mark Wendland Board Chair, Appoints Angela Radkowski as COO

Mark Wendland Chairman of the Board

NEW YORK — Feb. 6, 2026 — Tharimmune, Inc. (Nasdaq: THAR) said its board has elected CEO Mark Wendland as Chairman of the Board and appointed Angela Radkowski as Chief Operating Officer, effective Feb. 5, 2026, as the company pushes forward with its Canton Network-aligned infrastructure strategy.

Wendland succeeds Vincent LoPriore, who will shift from chairman to remain on the board after serving in the top board role since May 9, 2025.

The company described the leadership changes as part of an execution-focused expansion to support its efforts around Canton Coin (CC) and the Canton Network, which it frames as infrastructure for digitizing traditional financial markets.

What Radkowski will run day-to-day

As COO, Radkowski will oversee operational control functions and enterprise processes, including implementation of Tharimmune’s Canton Network quarterly research initiative and its Super Validator activation, according to the announcement.

Wendland said the company is continuing to execute its Canton Network-aligned digital asset strategy aimed at modernizing financial market infrastructure, and positioned Radkowski’s appointment as additive leadership as the company pursues institutional adoption and shareholder value.

Radkowski, in turn, said the Canton Network offers a model for institutional finance designed to overcome limitations in legacy infrastructure while enabling secure, scalable blockchain adoption.

Radkowski’s background: DRW and Citadel operations + tech delivery

Before joining Tharimmune, Radkowski served as Operations Strategy Lead and Chief of Staff to the COO at DRW Holdings, where she advised senior leadership, managed cross-functional communication, and handled enterprise-level initiatives.

She previously held roles within Citadel’s Treasury and Engineering organizations, coordinating deliverables involving optimization, data engineering, and technology upgrades.

The broader strategy Tharimmune is selling

Tharimmune said it established its digital asset treasury strategy in November 2025. Beyond acquiring Canton Coin and operating as a Super Validator, the company said it intends to invest in applications built on the Canton Network to accelerate institutional utility and adoption across capital markets.

Tharimmune also described itself as the first and only publicly traded company supported by the Canton Foundation, while noting it continues to operate clinical-stage biotech R&D alongside its digital asset strategy.

Industry takeaway: why this matters for crypto (and institutional blockchain infrastructure)

This is a governance-and-ops story, but the crypto angle is straightforward: institutional blockchain adoption lives or dies on execution.

If Tharimmune is serious about using Canton Coin and operating validator infrastructure for capital-markets digitization, then adding an operations leader with DRW/Citadel experience signals a push toward:

  • Institution-grade operational discipline (controls, process maturity, delivery velocity) around validator operations and network participation
  • A clearer bridge between TradFi expectations and blockchain rails, where institutional users demand reliability, auditability, and predictable governance
  • More credible “infrastructure company” positioning, where leadership depth becomes part of the due-diligence story for partners, allocators, and counterparties

In short: for the Canton Network ecosystem, this is less about headlines and more about whether the operator stack starts looking like the kind institutions are willing to rely on.
