This page explains the privacy choices available to visitors of bitbullnews.com, including how to opt out of certain advertising-related data sharing that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA).

1. What “sell” or “share” can mean here

We do not sell personal information for money in the traditional sense. However, we may allow certain advertising and analytics partners to collect information from your device (such as cookie identifiers, IP address, and browsing/interaction data) to:

  • deliver and measure advertising (including interest-based advertising), and

  • analyze Site usage.

A) Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (targeted advertising)

    Use our cookie consent and preference tool (Complianz for WordPress) to reject Advertising/Marketing cookies (and optionally Analytics cookies).

    • Look for “Cookie Settings” (usually in the cookie banner and/or Site footer).

  2. Browser controls:
    Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that some Site features may not work as intended if you disable cookies.

  3. Email request:
    Email us at info@bitbullnews.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share Request” and include:

    • the website you’re referring to (bitbullnews.com),

    • the browser/device you use (optional but helpful),

    • the email address you use for our newsletter (if applicable).

We will process verified requests as required by applicable law. Opt-out choices are generally browser- and device-specific, meaning you may need to repeat them on other browsers/devices.

B) Limit use of sensitive personal information

We do not intentionally collect “sensitive personal information” for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you (as defined under certain U.S. laws). If this changes, we will update our disclosures and provide required choices.

C) Access, delete, or correct (where applicable)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, deletion of, or correction of personal information we hold about you.

To submit such a request, email info@bitbullnews.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and specify your request (access / delete / correct). We may need to verify your identity (see Section 5).

3. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Some browsers and extensions provide a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where required by applicable law, we will treat a valid GPC signal as a request to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising for that browser/device.

If you use GPC, your cookie preferences may still need to be set per browser/device, and blocking cookies may impact site functionality.

5. Verification and authorized agents (for certain U.S. requests)

To protect your information, we may need to verify your request (for example, by confirming control of the email address associated with your newsletter subscription or contributor relationship).

If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization and may also require you to verify your identity directly, as permitted by law.

6. Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights (for example, by denying services or providing a different quality of service), except as permitted by applicable law.
